Criticism is super scary, and so powerful.
The amount of positive feedback I’ve received outweighs criticism by like a zillion to one (and I’m so bloody thankful) but even so I can recite the most biting negative comments word for word. Could I do this with any of the good stuff? Probably not.
In this video I talk about breaking negativity down into three main types, what you should take onboard, and what you should block-and-delete faster than I can put away a family size bag of crisps (that’s pretty fast by the way!).
What are your thoughts in dealing with criticism? Are there any times when it’s actually helped you, or has it ever stopped you doing something you really wanted to do?
