Grounding techniques are strategies that can help you manage anxiety, traumatic memories or strong feelings. The purpose of this grounding technique is to allow you to step away from negative thoughts or flashbacks.

Using the 5,4,3,2,1 method involves listing :

5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell and 1 thing you can taste.

This acts as a pattern interrupt for your anxiety and calms down your racing thoughts.

  • An Anxiety Grounding Charm Collection that takes you through the 5,4,3,2,1 method. Use this visual reminder when you start to feel panicked. Really Great!

I love everything in the kit. Really helps me manage my emotions and anxiety. The grounding method key chain is fantastic and i love that i can carry it around with me when i leave the house.

Lovely set, my favourite part is the keychain. The pompom is so soft and helps me remember how to ground myself as i keep forgetting. I also love the worry pad where I can write my worries and go back to them later. All items are lovely quality and I love the little tin that I can keep everything together.

Absolutely adorable 💕 🌈

I never write reviews but I had to for this. I bought this for my 9 year old daughter who has bad school anxiety. She absolutely loves this and the grounding method has really helped her when she is having a rough time. She has taken her keyring and notepad to school to help remind her if she needs it. She also finds the little bums on the animals funny which is a nice distraction and makes her laugh. We both love everything about this and I’ll be buying her some more bits for Christmas. Thank you Anita. You’ve managed to make something big and scary a little easier on my daughter and make her feel more in control and you’ve done so in the cutest way!
